Fall 2021 — Spring 2022
I started out as a website officer. I was tasked to do the following:
- Redesign a club-hosted startup fair website using the MERN stack. I worked on a team of three (and focused on backend) to build a website that would allow startups and students to register for one-on-one timeslots to talk about recruiting and internships.
Fall 2022 — Spring 2023:
I then was a Tech-Ops officer, where I was tasked to do the following:
- Lead a student-facing project team to work on Berkeley Bias, a MERN stack forum site for Berkeley students.
- Teach the project team basic software engineering skills including Git, Unit/Integration testing, MERN, and Docker.
- Help with internal organization of a campus-wide hackathon for Spring 2023.
Fall 2023 — Present:
I now lead the Tech-Ops branch, where I manage the following:
- Manage the Tech-Ops team and its projects, communicating with cross-club point of contacts
- Help run internal logistics and manage the office space
- Organize club-sponsored events such as hack days
